New shot aims to boost TB treatment success
NCT ID NCT06205589
Summary
This study is testing if an experimental vaccine called ID93 + GLA-SE can help people get better results from their standard tuberculosis (TB) treatment. It will involve 1,500 adults with lung TB, including some living with HIV, who are already on standard TB drugs. Researchers will give the vaccine or a placebo at different times during treatment to see if it helps the immune system fight TB and leads to fewer treatment failures or recurrences.
