Scientists track toxic air inside taxis to see how it affects Drivers' lungs

NCT ID NCT03839537

Summary

This study aimed to understand how tiny air pollution particles inside taxis affect drivers' breathing. Researchers measured the air quality in the vehicles of 56 Parisian taxi drivers over their work shifts and tested the drivers' lung function before and after work. The goal was to see if exposure to this pollution during the workday caused short-term changes in breathing or lung capacity.
