First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests a non-invasive device that gently stimulates a nerve in the ear to see if it can improve breathing strength in people who had a stroke 1-3 years ago. Researchers will measure lung function in 50 participants before and after the treatment. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to help stroke survivors breathe easier and recover more fully.
