Summary
This study tested a non-invasive device that gently stimulates a nerve in the ear (taVNS) to see if it can reduce symptoms and inflammation in people with acute pancreatitis. Sixty adults with early-stage pancreatitis received either the real stimulation or a sham device. The goal was to see if this approach could speed up recovery and improve comfort.
