TAVI study probes hidden heart vessel damage

NCT ID NCT05326126

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looked at 75 people with severe aortic stenosis who were getting a TAVI procedure to replace their heart valve. Researchers measured how well the tiny blood vessels in the heart worked and checked for scarring in the heart muscle. The goal was to understand the link between vessel function and scarring, not to test a new treatment.
