Arm prick blood test matches standard draws in study
NCT ID NCT06392269
First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested a device called Tasso+ that collects blood from the upper arm instead of a needle in the vein. 443 adults gave blood samples twice, using the device themselves or with a healthcare provider's help. The results from the arm samples were compared to standard blood draws to see if they matched. The goal was to see if this easier method works well for lab testing.
