Army tests tart cherry snacks: do they work as well as juice?
NCT ID NCT07063173
Summary
This study aims to understand how well the body absorbs healthy compounds from new, shelf-stable tart cherry food items, like a snack bar and a powdered drink. Researchers will compare these to a standard tart cherry juice and a control item with no cherry. They are recruiting 15 healthy adults to eat the different foods and then measure nutrient levels in their blood and urine over time.
