New drug trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat neuroendocrine cancer

Summary
This Phase 3 trial is testing whether an experimental drug called tarlatamab works better than standard chemotherapy for people with advanced neuroendocrine carcinoma that has worsened after initial treatment. The study will enroll 129 adults whose cancer has spread and who have already tried platinum-based chemotherapy. Researchers will compare how long patients live and how well their cancer responds to see if tarlatamab provides better disease control.
