Summary

This study tests a new approach to prepare adults with non-cancer diseases for a stem cell transplant. A special antibody carrying a radioactive particle targets and destroys harmful bone marrow cells, while low-dose total body radiation is also given. The goal is to prevent the body from rejecting the donor stem cells and to improve long-term outcomes. The trial involves 40 participants and is currently recruiting.
