Can tapping ease the fear of giving birth?
NCT ID NCT07000552
Summary
This study tested whether a therapy called Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), or 'tapping,' could help first-time mothers feel less afraid of childbirth and more secure after giving birth. Researchers compared a group of pregnant women who received the tapping sessions to a group who did not. They measured the women's fear levels, memories of birth, and feelings of safety after their babies were born.
