Can tapping away fears lead to a calmer C-Section?

NCT ID NCT07156279

Summary

This study is testing if a simple, non-drug technique called the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) can help reduce fear and anxiety in women before a planned cesarean section. EFT involves gentle tapping on specific points while focusing on calming thoughts. Researchers will measure if this brief session lowers fear scores, helps stabilize heart rate and blood pressure during surgery, and affects the newborn's initial health score.
