First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study compares two taping techniques—Low-Dye and calcaneal taping—for reducing pain and improving foot function in people with plantar fasciitis, a common cause of heel pain. About 40 adults aged 19 to 44 with heel pain lasting over three months will be randomly assigned to one of the two taping groups. Over two weeks, researchers will measure pain, foot function, ankle motion, and walking patterns to see which method works better.
