Sticky tape trial aims to ease painful swelling in broken wrists
NCT ID NCT04683887
Summary
This study tested whether a special elastic tape could help control hand swelling in adults with a broken wrist who were treated with a forearm cast. Researchers compared swelling and pain levels between a group that used the tape and a group that did not. The goal was to see if this simple method could make wearing a cast more comfortable and reduce the need for extra emergency visits.
