Fish skin used in groundbreaking gender affirmation surgery trial

Summary

This study looks at a new way to perform vaginoplasty (bottom surgery) for transgender women using a special fish skin graft called Kerecis™. The goal is to see how well the vagina heals and how the surgery affects quality of life, pain, and sexual function. Up to 20 adults will be followed for one year after surgery.
