First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study compared two types of nerve blocks (TAP and TFP) to see which one provides better pain relief after a hysterectomy. 77 women having the surgery were given one of the two blocks, and researchers measured their pain scores and how much extra pain medicine they needed. The goal was to find the most effective way to reduce pain and opioid use after this common surgery.
