First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at two ways to give a pain-relieving shot (TAP block) to people having their gallbladder removed by keyhole surgery. One group gets the shot only on the right side, the other gets it on both sides. Researchers will track pain, nausea, and how much extra pain medicine is needed in the first 24 hours after surgery to see which method works better.
