Summary
This early-phase study tested whether adding a low dose of methylphenidate or atomoxetine to physical therapy helps people with Parkinson's disease walk and balance better than physical therapy alone. 23 participants with significant gait or balance problems were enrolled. The study aimed to see if the combination approach leads to greater improvements in standard walking and balance tests.
