New hope for elderly myeloma patients: immune therapy trial targets tough relapses

Summary
This study is testing a new immune therapy called talquetamab in elderly patients whose multiple myeloma has returned after prior treatments. Talquetamab is an injection that helps the patient's own immune cells find and attack the cancer. If the cancer progresses on talquetamab alone, a second drug (daratumumab) will be added to try to improve the response.
