New therapy aims to help teens trust again
NCT ID NCT07350954
Summary
This small study is testing whether a new, brief talking therapy is practical and acceptable for teenagers (16-18) who are experiencing paranoid thoughts and seeking mental health support. The therapy involves six weekly sessions that use values-based exercises and mental imagery techniques. The main goal is to see if this approach can be successfully delivered in a real-world clinic and if teens find it helpful, while also checking for any early signs it might reduce paranoid thoughts.
