Summary
This study tested whether a personalized heart ablation approach works better than the standard method for persistent atrial fibrillation. Researchers compared two techniques in 377 adults with persistent AF who hadn't responded well to medication. One group received standard ablation, while the other received ablation guided by personalized mapping of their heart's electrical patterns.
