New tech targets stubborn heart rhythm problem

NCT ID NCT05477147

Summary

This study tested a new computer software (VX1 algorithm) to guide a second heart ablation procedure for people whose atrial fibrillation (AFib) returned after a first ablation. The goal was to see if this tailored approach could better stop AFib from coming back. It involved 96 adults who had a previous ablation but experienced symptomatic AFib again.
