Tailbone pain relief: does combining two injections beat one?
NCT ID NCT07200765
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at adults with long-term tailbone pain that hasn't improved with basic treatments like pain relievers or cushions. Researchers compare a single injection (ganglion impar block) to a combination of two injections (ganglion impar block plus caudal epidural steroid injection) to see if the combo provides better pain relief. The goal is to find out if adding the second injection offers extra benefit for people with stubborn tailbone pain.
