Summary
This study tests whether the drug tafolecimab, given before a procedure to open blocked heart arteries, can reduce the risk of major heart problems like another heart attack or stroke over one year. About 1,160 adults aged 18-75 who are having a heart attack will receive either tafolecimab injections plus standard care, or standard care alone. Researchers will also check if the drug improves small blood vessel function in the heart.
