First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether tadalafil, a drug often used for erectile dysfunction, can prevent nerve damage caused by docetaxel chemotherapy in men with metastatic prostate cancer. About 90 participants took either tadalafil every two days or standard care during their chemo. The goal was to see if tadalafil could reduce the number of patients who develop painful or limiting nerve symptoms.
