Could zapping the brain relieve stubborn constipation?

Summary

This study tests a non-invasive brain stimulation method called tACS in 60 adults who have severe constipation that hasn't improved with standard treatments and also experience emotional distress. Participants receive either real or sham stimulation for 4 weeks. The goal is to see if tACS can increase complete bowel movements and improve quality of life.
