First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at how two different exercise programs affect sprinting power, speed, and agility. 32 sprinters, aged 18 to 35, were split into two groups: one did Tabata training (short, intense bursts of exercise) and the other did periodized resistance training (gradually heavier weights). Both groups trained three times a week for eight weeks. The goal was to see which method better improves athletic performance.
