Summary
This study aimed to find out which of two popular training methods is better for improving the fitness of amateur football players. Researchers compared a high-intensity interval workout (Modified Tabata) with a more varied running workout (Fartlek training) over six weeks. They measured changes in leg strength, explosive power, and endurance in 34 young male players to see which program delivered better results.
