NCT ID NCT07322380

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study will see if it's practical to screen close family members (parents, siblings, or children) of people with type 1 diabetes for early signs of the disease. About 1,000 adults in Quebec will give blood samples and answer questions. If they test positive for certain antibodies, they will be monitored to track their risk. The goal is to learn how to set up such screening programs in the real world.
