First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looked at how certain immune cells, called T CD8 lymphocytes, might be involved in Horton's disease (a type of blood vessel inflammation). Researchers collected blood samples and temporal artery biopsies from 30 newly diagnosed patients before treatment. The goal was to measure the amount of active T CD8 cells and other immune markers to better understand the disease.
