New disc implant aims to ease chronic neck pain in 200 patients

Summary
This study follows 200 people who have or will receive the Synergy Disc to treat degenerative cervical disc disease. Researchers will measure pain and neck function improvements over a year, and check for serious side effects. The goal is to see if the disc safely reduces disability and pain from nerve compression in the neck.
