Heart mapping breakthrough could sharpen treatment for dangerous fainting

NCT ID NCT06472102

Summary

This study aims to improve a heart procedure called cardioneuroablation, which treats fainting spells caused by the heart stopping briefly. Researchers will compare three different mapping techniques to find the most accurate way to locate the tiny nerve clusters that need to be treated. The goal is to make the procedure more effective and consistent for the 100 patients enrolled.
