Summary
This study looks at whether a daily supplement containing friendly bacteria and a special food for those bacteria is safe and can improve the gut health of infants and toddlers aged 2 to 24 months. About 200 babies will either get the supplement or a placebo (lactose) for one month. Researchers will check for tummy troubles and analyze stool samples to see how the gut bacteria change.
