First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether a daily synbiotic supplement (probiotics plus prebiotics) can improve gut health and reduce digestive discomfort in adults aged 50-70 with a BMI between 25 and 35. Participants will take the supplement or a placebo for 8 weeks, with a 2-week follow-up. The goal is to see if the supplement boosts beneficial gut bacteria and eases mild to moderate gastrointestinal symptoms.
