Summary

This study tested whether a mix of a special fiber (PHGG) and a probiotic (LGG) could help children aged 4–16 with long-term constipation. For 12 weeks, some kids took the supplement plus got diet advice, while others only got diet advice. The goal was to see if the supplement led to more regular, comfortable bowel movements and improved gut health.
