Summary
This study tests whether taking a daily mix of a prebiotic (berberine) and a postbiotic (inactivated good bacteria) can reduce belly pain and discomfort in adults. About 140 people with ongoing but mild-to-moderate intestinal issues will take the supplement or a placebo for several weeks. Researchers will track changes in symptoms and quality of life using questionnaires.
