New shot aims to tame stubborn cholesterol
NCT ID NCT07421232
Summary
This study tested an experimental injection called SYH2053 to see if it could safely lower 'bad' cholesterol (LDL-C) in adults with high cholesterol. It involved 156 participants who received either the new injection, a placebo (dummy shot), or an existing cholesterol drug for comparison. The main goal was to measure how much the injection reduced cholesterol levels from the start of the study.
