New shot aims to tame high cholesterol

NCT ID NCT07421297

Summary

This study is testing a new injectable drug called SYH2053 to see if it safely lowers 'bad' cholesterol (LDL-C) in adults with high cholesterol or mixed lipid problems. It will compare the drug against a placebo (dummy injection) in 760 participants over about a year. The main goal is to see how much the drug reduces cholesterol levels and to check for any side effects.
