New shot aims to tame stubborn high cholesterol

Summary

This study is testing a new injectable drug called SYH2053 for people with high cholesterol that isn't well controlled by their current medications. It will enroll 900 adults to see if the injection safely lowers 'bad' LDL cholesterol more effectively than a placebo shot. The goal is to better control cholesterol levels and reduce long-term heart disease risk.
