New study charts path from homemade CBD to prescription for Kids' seizures
NCT ID NCT06924827
Summary
This study aims to find the safest and most effective way to switch children with severe epilepsy syndromes from using homemade, non-prescription CBD products to the FDA-approved medication Epidiolex. Researchers will work with 25 children, gradually replacing their current CBD with the prescription version over 20 weeks while closely monitoring their seizures and side effects. The goal is to see if the switch can be made successfully and if it helps control seizures better or improves quality of life.
