Study tests safer switch from homemade CBD to approved seizure drug in kids

Summary
This study aims to find the best way to switch children with Dravet or Lennox-Gastaut syndrome from artisanal (non-pharmaceutical) cannabidiol to the FDA-approved drug Epidiolex. About 25 children aged 2 to 18 will gradually replace their artisanal CBD with Epidiolex over two weeks, then continue on Epidiolex for several months. Researchers will track how many successfully make the switch, whether the same dose works, and any side effects.
