Summary
This study aims to understand how artificial sweeteners affect blood sugar control, gut bacteria, and hormone levels in healthy adults. Researchers will provide all meals for 60 participants aged 45-79 during two 8-week periods, comparing a diet with sweeteners to one without. The goal is to gather detailed information to help settle the debate about the health impacts of these common sugar substitutes.
