First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at how much you sweat and how much sodium is in your sweat when you exercise in hot, humid conditions. About 40 healthy adults who exercise regularly will bike or walk on a treadmill for up to 2 hours in a heated room. Researchers will collect sweat, urine, and saliva samples to understand how the body handles fluid and salt during heat stress.
