Scientists watch your swallow to build a better mask
NCT ID NCT07264322
Summary
This study aims to understand how normal throat structures move when a person swallows. Researchers will watch this happen in real-time using standard X-ray exams that patients are already getting. The information will be used to help design safer and more comfortable breathing masks used during surgery.
