First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a personalized 12-week speech, swallowing, and voice rehabilitation program can help head and neck cancer patients preserve their swallowing function after minimally invasive robotic surgery. About 53 adults scheduled for this surgery will take part. The program includes daily exercises with a therapist and at home, tailored to each patient's needs. The main goal is to see if patients can achieve a good swallowing score 12 weeks after surgery, with follow-up for two years.
