First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looks at whether swaddling and gently holding newborns in a curled position can lower their pain and stress while they receive breathing support through a nasal mask. About 114 premature infants will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care or the extra comforting techniques. Researchers will measure pain, stress, comfort, and vital signs to see if these simple methods help.
