First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether swaddling (wrapping snugly) or holding a baby in a curled position can lower pain, stress, and improve comfort for newborns receiving breathing support through a mask (nasal CPAP). About 114 premature and full-term babies will be observed. The goal is to find simple, drug-free ways to make this common procedure less stressful for infants.
