New hope for scarred lungs: experimental drug enters patient testing
NCT ID NCT07121413
Summary
This study is testing an experimental drug called SV001 in people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a serious lung-scarring disease. The main goal is to check if the drug is safe and how the body processes it. Researchers will give the drug to 48 patients and compare them to others receiving a placebo, carefully monitoring for side effects.
