First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tested two methods of securing a graft after removing a pterygium (a growth on the eye). In 30 patients, one eye got stitches and the other got a stitchless method. The goal was to see which approach leads to faster healing, less discomfort, and better cosmetic results. Both techniques were compared using scans and patient feedback over one month.
