NCT ID NCT06586814
First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This pilot study looks at whether stitches or staples are better for closing surgical wounds after fixing certain leg fractures. The main goal is to see if a larger study is possible, not to prove one method is best. About 50 adults with specific leg fractures will be randomly assigned to get stitches or staples, and researchers will track infections and how well patients follow up.
