Back surgery gets a stitch in time to stop pain from returning
NCT ID NCT07250581
Summary
This study is testing if adding a special stitch to seal the spinal disc during a common type of back surgery helps prevent the problem from coming back. Researchers will compare two groups: one gets the standard surgery, and the other gets the surgery plus the stitch. They aim to see if the stitch reduces repeat herniations and improves long-term pain and function for patients.
